ALL 1stHOLD writers receive $.10/word + expenses (i.e. long distance phone calls, parking, postage reimbursement, etc.).

Currently, 1stHOLD has an open position for an Entertainment Writer.

Entertainment Writer: The entertainment writer would focus on the goings on in music, film and TV. You would be expected to keep up with hiring's and firings in the art departments of record companies, which makeup, hair and fashion stylists land the most coveted jobs working with high-profile recording artists and up and comers with promise. Additionally you would report on whom is landing the makeup, hair and wardrobe/costume positions on hot shows and feature films, as well as music videos. You will also be required to attend and write articles on shows and classes on behalf of 1stHOLD.

East and West Coast Fashion Editors: The fashion editor will focus on trends, events and identifying high-profile and/or noteworthy stylists that can be interviewed for feature stories. You will be required to attend and write articles on shows and classes on behalf of 1stHOLD.

Event Photographers: We are in need of event photographers in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Miami who can work for $35/hour + expenses (i.e. long distance phone calls, parking, postage reimbursement, etc.) and film and are willing to forward the rolls to us for developing. However, if you are working with digital film and can upload the images to our apple.com ftp site--thereby eliminate the expense of film and postage, your rate would be $45/hour.
